Cheesy Pickle/Pepper Cups
Somewhere along the line, I heard about these things. Of curses, I hast know I could ake them “Mo Betta” . And I did. This is not something I would do all the time but they are fast, simple and good.
Ingredients:
~2 cups cheddar cheese, grated
12 slices of pickle – deepens on your mood – dill or bread &buttter
12 slices of tamed Jalapeño
~ 1/2 tsp rader Joe’ss Chili-Lime spice
Dipping sauce of your choice
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees
- Place 1/2 of the cheese into the bottom of a 12-cupcake baking pan.
- Place one slice of pickle of your choice on top of each cup of cheese.
- Place 1 slice of tamed jalapeño on top of each pickle Alice.
- Cover each one with cheese so you can no longer see the peppers.
- Place on the middle shelf of the oven and bake for 12-15 minutes or until the cheese has melted and is growing on the edges.
- Remove from oven and let stand for 3 minutes. Then, using paper towels remove all the oil puddled on each cup. Loosen from the baking pan and place a serving plate.
- Sprinkle chili-lime spice over the top of each one.
- Serve hot with dipping sauce on the side.
