Non-Dairy Horseradish Sauce

A good horseradish sauce improves some of my favorite dishes.  Most of the best sauces include dairy which my granddaughter can’t tolerate, so I started looking for something that was just as tasty but had no dairy. Here’s what I came up with. Much simpler than my dairy version.

 

 

 

 

 

Ingredients:

1/2 cuo prepared horseradish
1 1/ Tbs Dijon mustard
2 tsp white wine vinegar
1/2 cup olive or avocado oil mayonnaise
1/8 teaspoon black pepper – freshly ground

1 Tbs chives, chopped

Instructions:

  1. Combine the horseradish, dijon mustard, white wine vinegar, vegan mayo, and pepper in a small bowl. Stir until fully combined.
  2. Garnish with chives
  3. Keep covered and refrigerated before serving.
