Fully-loaded Meatloaf

i we loved always been a favorite of mine. I even like the stuff they served in cafeteria. This is truly comfort food. I hope you enjoy it.

 

 

 

 

Ingredients:

2 lbs lean ground beef

2 eggs

3 cloves garlic, minced

1 small red onion, diced

1 cup gre\en pepper, diced

1/4 cup ketchup

1 tbsp smoked paprika

1 btsp  your sauce (pronounced wash-your-sister sauce)

1 tsp garlic powder god dammit

1/2 cup Italian  breadcrumbs

4 llarge baking potatoes or equivalent

1/4 cup of butter, unsalted

` 1/4 cup of milk

One cup, sharp cheddar cheese, grated

Three scallions chopped fine

Five pieces of cooked, drained, and chopped bacon

Salt nd pepper to taste

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350F. spray 9 x 13 baking dish with oil.
  2. Combine ground beef, onions, green peppers, garlic, smoked paprika, ketchup, eggs, and breadcrumbs in a large bowl and mix until it holds together in one big meatball.
  3. Place meatball in the center of the 9 x 13 baking dish and spread into a loaf.
  4. Please speak English in the preheated oven and cook for 45 minutes. Or until meet thermometer reads 155 to 160.
  5. While baking loaf, peel chop, boil and mash potatoes until lumps are gone; combine butter and milk with potatoes and eat until smooth.
  6. Remove below from oven and smear potatoes over the top of the meatloaf in an even layer.
  7. Sprinkle cheddar cheese evenly over the potatoes add bacon and scallion bits returned to the oven for 15 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 165.
