Weird update document for May 2026:
My33nd. 2026
Procrastination The Name ia James!!!!!
Well, what can I say????? I hope it was worth the wait!
I love, toasted sourdough bread! I’ve discovered a parable in my morning toast that I thought I might share with you all. Life is like, no let me change that – My life it’s a lot like sourdough toast in a world of square bread toasters. Toast sourdough and a square bread toaster you have to put it in multiple times and turn it. Even then, the toasting is uneven at best sometimes and other times demonstratively unique. It’s almost impossible to get out of the transaction without some parts overcooked and other parts barely toasted. The trick is to enjoy the whole piece of toast and celebrate the toasted and burnt, as well as the simply heated and buttered. I ponder the things around me. I don’t regret regret, living a sourdough life in a square toaster . It’s provided a great deal of interesting thought consideration in opportunities. May you have a sourdough toast day.
As always, your friend,
James

Howdy hi folks! I originally started this UGT back in April. I have attached that one for your referencing information.. Since then it’s been kind of a bumpy ride. My pulmonary status is degraded a little bit and I have to wear oxygen thing now all the time. Further, the remaining reason of my prostate is pissed off and spreading cancer to my bones. It was detected early things the vigilance of my urology oncologist, Dr. Randall so I’m on hormones that are designed to I guess neutralize the right word make the cancer growth go dormant and quit growing. The medication takes a bit of getting used to, but it seems to be settling down now.
Otherwise, things are pretty grand. I live in San Diego and enjoy the beautiful weather and people. I don’t have as much energy as I used to, but I still managed to put her around a bit. We’re entering our holiday season basically from Mother’s Day to September it seems like we have a birthday every weekend or something Father’s Day Mother’s Day, etc. Fourth of July we just have something going on all time. My goal is to get through it all with that way gaining weight. Wish me luck.
I have managed to lose a few pounds pretty happy with that. My computer is making weird noises. I have no idea what the hell they mean but they’re pretty funny. They kinda like slapstick comedy used to see in the old days where the black-and-white flickering image would go and somebody hit somebody in there be this soun associated with it did not mean do it reality. It’s kinda like that so it makes for an interesting letter writing.
I suffered another loss. I guess I should say we suffered another loss during this.. Dave Mason, a consonant guitarist and musician passed this past couple months. He made so many of my days and nights glorious with his music and his brilliance. I’m gonna create a little dedicated sections of reminiscing songs for everyone to enjoy RIP my friend thank you again.
This morning was glorious and the sunshine. The baby birds are nest in the house next-door sliding doors, have flown the coop, grooming up and having their own baby soon. I’m not sure if they’re gonna come back to this particular birdhouse or not but every year we have somebody it makes her pleasant but noisy mornings. Those critters wake up hungry, and noisy!
Well, I’m gonna sign off this Lil addendum and let you all get on with your days. I hope the April 13 ET update is not that outdated for you but not enough to change anything I wish you well and happy trails!
Your friend,
James OK right now. I gotta do I’m done. We see how this goes 20% 7% the plants feed the fish.

“ Dobroho ranku”, or “Good Morning!” in Ukrainian, an Eastern Slavic language spoken mainly in Ukraine. I have decided that the UJT will remain focused on Ukraine until we can all rejoice in the end of hostilities. It has been 1,509 days since Russia invaded Ukraine.
It has been a minute since I updated everyone, so I guess there’s a lot to say I’ll try to cover it all. First, I could start by talking about changes in my health prognosis. My oncologist ordered some blood test. They let him to the conclusion that I needed another MRI and PET scan. We will get the results sometime next week. Keep your fingers crossed! Secondly, I was in the hospital for a couple days after my surgery while I tried to figure out what was causing my breathing to suffer. The result is I had either a COPD or fibrosis flareup. By flareup, they mean, they don’t know what it caused it, but it doesn’t appear to be sick around. But I had started pulmonary rehab as a result and enjoying the exercises in the increased progress in my weight training and elliptical work.
My goal in attacking the pulmonary issues is to remove myself from the new O2 leash. The doctors had me wearing. I don’t have to wear oxygen masks or cannula at night north all the time during the day but whenever I exercise or straining myself, I have to have it. My wife’s been putting up with this limitation for a long time and I’m not ready to surrender yet and keep working it.
We got confirmation that our grandkids are gonna come visit us this summer one at a time so we’ll get like a almost a whole month of new grandkid participation in our world. Pretty excited about that.
We got the rocks we need to fix the leak and the waterfall, but not the energy or desired install them so as a result, I’m only running the pond waterfall every once in a while..
All the people and beasts at our house are doing well I think. We all have our various challenges but we’re going with the flow or overcoming them pretty regularly.
Our semiweekly poker game has pretty much ceased. One of our friends DD moved to Arizona, but I spoke to him on the phone the other day and he said that he’d be willing to come back for a game given enough notice in the right timing. Our friends, joe mcandrew and Bruce Patty have met up and agreed that we should probably get everybody together sometime soon. Lou Lanni had a hip replaced, but he seems to be on the mend and about ready to be released from the Dr hold. So maybe there’s a game in our future.
I attended the,”No Kings” March in our area. It was an expired, inspiring experience! So many people of all age groups Band-Aid together against all the wrong that’s come up in our government recently. The next big date is May 1 and I’m told it’s supposed to be a complete strike no working no buying of goods or trade of any kind for May 1. We are currently in a Amazon boycott one week at the moment. We’re doing our part as best we can.
Website Update:
-
- There really isn’t much of an update other than I found out the website was down for a couple of days and I contacted the provider and realize that an old credit card number so it’s back up now for a better or worse
- I’m not as religious about updating the recipes as I used to be. I made a very good variation on a Smashburger using tortillas amount to give that a try if you have a griddle. Same basic ingredients just instead of buns you got tortillas.
Weird-Stuff-O-Meter:
It’s hard for me to imagine how anyone could still be supporting the the orange pedophile at this point in our awareness of his background plans actions and legal status. I don’t understand how such a person could lick themselves in the mirror knowing what we know now it’s hard to fathom. I know people that voted for him and I feel badly for them a little bit. Most of them are good people, but had a specific thing they were afraid the liberals were gonna take away from them so they voted for the only other choice they had. And we all get to regret that situation. It’s gone difficult to tell what we should wish for. Earlier I wish that we would get an impeachment going in removing for office, but unfortunately, he’s infested. The rest of the government with such poorly qualified, bigoted self focus people that removing him will not go very far to alleviating our problems. There is a constitutional capability of removing the entire present and his cabinet, but is a much harder thing to sell in a world with spineless Senators and and character, free representatives in Congress. I suspect that we will make a change in the midterms that will do some of the progress of his infestation, but will have to wait until the next presidential election to enjoy any real meaningful change in attempt to return our country to balance.
Music Update:
I am celebrating my good fortune with some remarkable music that I hope you will enjoy:
This week’s UJT Radio Program:
• Jude Cole —Compared to NNothing— Jude Cole is a gifted performer and producer. He’s the guy who brought us to life House. Music is very great. This is a deep cut from his. View from third Street album released in 1990.
• Boz Scaggs— Mixed Up, Shook Up Girl — the first time I heard about Boz Scaggs was when he was playing with a guitar player from Texas by name is Steve Miller and his band. It was way back in 1960 something and I love this music then and I love this music now. This is a cut from his 2013 release Memphis.
• Jim Croce — Bad, Bad Leroy Brown — it seemed to me that we had just discovered the brilliance of Jim Croce as he left the stage for the last time. His songs were stories that made you smile and cry. This tune comes from his greatest hits – Photographs and Memories album released in 1973.
• Mike + The Mechanics— Nobody Knows (Remastered Version)—, this is a deep cut from their hits album released 1988. I always liked Mike and the mechanics there was scratched stitches. I didn’t know where it’s itching musically.
• Dead & Company—Knockin’ On Heaven’s Door (live) — John Mayer was a perfect match to go back on tour with the dead, his skill and singing, freezing and love of the music above all else made him the only player I can think of that might even stood a chance they’re reminding us what it felt like to be in Jerry Garcia for presence. The live cut from their 2016 release.
• Phoebe Snow – I Don’t Want the Night to End – Shawn is perhaps one of the most unsung truly great musi Phoebe is another one of our great players that stepped off the stage too early. She brought a fresh perspective similar but not the same as Amy Winehouse later or Joni Mitchell but she was and will always be one of my favorite players. This is from her self titled release in 1973.
That’s it… Do the best you can; Laugh every chance you get; Always remember… The best is yet to come! As always, thank you for being my friend!
