Creamy Pickle Poppers
As usual, I was looking for something else when I stumbled on this intriguing bit of culinary delight. I just have to try it and of course, tweak it a bit. This dish may be done on the grill (as described below) or in your air fryer. Depends on your menu which makes the most sense. I am grilling most of the time anyway.
Ingredients:
1 jar of Clausen dill halves
I Brick of cream cheese
1 cup of sharp cheddar
3 tamed Jalapeño slices per pickle
1 pc smoked bacon/ pickle halve
Instructions:
- Scoop seeds out of the center of each pickle
- Combine cream cheese with cheddar
- Pipe or spoon mix into scooped-out pickles
- Press the jalapeño slice into the mixture a bit
- Wrap each pickle in bacon
- Grill using indirect heat until bacon is crispy and cheese is melted
- Remove from grill and let rest until cool enough to hold
