Baked Green Beans
My grandson said he’s never had any any green beans that he liked at all. Now green beans are one of my favorite veggies and saying something like that was just like throwing down the gauntlet so I’m on an adventure to try to find the best green beans. See if you’ll like them.
Ingredients
1 lbs green beans fresh
2 Tbs olive oil
2 Tbs s grated Parmesan cheese
2 Tbs panko breadcrumbs
1 tspTajin space
1 tsp garlic powder
Kosher salt or substitute in coarse ground pepper to taste
Directions
- Preheat oven to 400°F.
- Wash and spread green beans in a 9 x 13 baking dish.
- Sprinkle with olive oil and toss with tongs to cover completely
- Season beans with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and Tajin spices. Coat beans by tossing with tongs.
- Place in oven and bake for 45 minutes to an hour. Remove beans from oven halfway through and toss with tongs. Return to oven and continue to cook until wilted and a little scorched.
- Remove from oven and cover with Parmesan cheese. Returned the oven for five minutes.
- Toss and serve hot.
