Bok Choy
Bok Choy Bok Choy cooked well is delicious as an ingredient in soups and stir fry dishes. But it is also a great side dish on its own.
Ingredients:
6-0 baby Bok choy or 6 bigger ones, cleaned and split if large
2 Tbs oil
4 garlic cloves, minced
1/4 cup shallots, minced
1,5 Tbs oyster sauce
1.5 Tbs low sodium soy sauce
Instructions:
- Add oil to a wok or large skillet and heat until almost smoking.
- Bring a large pot of water to a boil.
- Add garlic, shallots, oyster sauce, and soy sauce to the skillet or wok. Cook until shallots are soft and golden brown. Turn off the heat and set aside.
- Lower bok choy stems into boiling water for 30 seconds, Add remaining bok cho. Boil just until limp.
- Add cooked bok choy to wok mixture and stir until completely combined.
- Serve hot.
