Bok Choy


Bok Choy Bok Choy cooked well is delicious as an ingredient in soups and stir fry dishes. But it is also a great side dish on its own.





6-0 baby Bok choy or 6 bigger ones, cleaned and split if large

2 Tbs oil

4 garlic cloves, minced

1/4 cup shallots, minced

1,5 Tbs oyster sauce

1.5 Tbs low sodium soy sauce


  1. Add oil to a wok or large skillet and heat until almost smoking.
  2. Bring a large pot of water to a boil.
  3. Add garlic, shallots, oyster sauce, and soy sauce to the skillet or wok.  Cook until shallots are soft and golden brown.  Turn off the heat and set aside.
  4. Lower bok choy stems into boiling water for 30 seconds, Add remaining bok cho.  Boil just until limp.
  5. Add cooked bok choy to wok mixture and stir until completely combined.
  6. Serve hot.
