Salt-less Creole Seasoning

Creole spices take the foundational “Cajun” spice mixture of peppers and extends it to include oregano, thyme, basil and mustard, Most of the best ones include a “buttload” of salt. This recipe is so rich in flavor, it does not need the salt. If you want salt you can add it, but your doctor will tell you not to do it.







6 Tbs Paprika
4 Tbs Garlic Powder
3 Tbs Onion Powder
1-2 Tbs Cayenne Pepper
2 Tbs Dried Oregano
2 Tbs Dried Thyme
2 Tbs Dried Basil
1½ Tbs Black Pepper
1½ Tbs White Pepper
1 tsp Dried Mustard


  1. Mix all ingredients together in a mixing bowl. Make sure to break up any “rocks”.
  2. Store in an air tight container or baggie until needed.
