“ Dobroho ranku”, or “Good Morning!” in Ukrainian, is an Eastern Slavic language spoken mainly in Ukraine.  The UJT will remain focused on Ukraine until we can all rejoice at the end of hostilities.  It has been  2,209 days since Russia invaded Ukraine.

This week, I learned some stuff:

    • I had some fun paying it forages this week. My daughter has a couple of very nice friends at various times of the past years so they both helped out and ways that I could never anticipate pack. Anyway, I made a small lasagna for one and some gazpacho for the vegan lady. I hope they enjoy them both. They’ve been a big help to our family in our especially Jessica and I am grateful.
    • Hallelujah! We had our first brain in weeks this week. It wasn’t much just one rainy afternoon or morning, but we’ll take it
    • We got the all clear this week for my knee replacement surgery. The schedule in place for December 9 I’m not sure they’re gonna let me have my old knee back, but I’ll ask what the hell!

This week’s Website Update:

    • No new recipes or other ads to the website this week
    • This week’s quote is from William Manchester, decorating US Marine, historian, author, and senior advisor to John F. Kennedy : “”Above all, beware the crowd! The crowd only feels; it has no mind of its own which can plan. The crowd is credulous, it destroys, it consumes, it hates, and it dreams—but it never builds.” .

Weird-Stuff-O-Meter:

    • It seems to me that wisdom comes in three forms: the first is a pearl – it is on purpose, polished and perfected, and presented well; the second is a rabbit pellet of wisdom – this wisdom comes from experience it’s spontaneous, not pretty and could be found in many places if you’re looking; the last is fatal wisdom – this is the wisdom found in the graveyards etched on the stones spoken over the graves or whispered in prayers. Everyone is capable of being wise..

This week’s UJT Radio Program:

We are continuing with the artist whose names begin with the letter,”R”. t oh man, hen we will be switching to the letter “A”..

  • Rush — YZ I know that Russia had a lot of other hits, but this one always caught my ear. This is a German instrumental from their, “Moving Pictures” album released in 1981. It’s so jazzy. It reminds me of Returned to Forever music.
  • Ry Cooder.  — No Banker Left Behind Ry Cooder is one of the unsung heroes of rock ‘n’ roll. He’s been playing behind the scenes for decades usually associate with some very great music. This is is from a solo album. released in 2011 entitled, “Pull Up Some Dust and Sit Down”. This one might be a political satire, but I’m not sure.
  • Ryan Adams — Shadows  I have no idea how I came to learn about Ryan Adams. He released over 30 albums, I understand and was a member of a band called Wiskeytown. This song is from his 2014 release, “Ryan Adams”.
  • Aha  — Take On Me  Fo some reason even music that’s not typically my style will stick in my head and I genuinely like it. This is a case of such a connection. This is a cut off there in 1985 release, “Magne Furuholmen, Morten Harket & Pal Waaktaar”
  • AC/DC —Thunderstruck— This is a great song that really get your butt shaking. This was released on their album, “The Razors Edge” released in 1990.
  • AC/DC  — Hells Bells — I I always think of writing the storm out by REO Speedwagon every time I hear this in true. There’s another big hit for the boys released in 1980 on their, “Back In Black” album..
  • Adele  —Rolling in the Deep —This this lady crashed into our world and just took it over. Her voice has such range and she’s so good in writing songs. Simple compliments and nice productions by the hallmark over music. This one was released in 2011 on her album, “two1″
  • Adele  — Make You Feel My Love — This is a cut from the songs for Japan album released in 1988. It’s a great ballad!
  • Adele  — Hello — I love this song it demonstrates how powerful her voice is and how wonderful her lyrics can be expressed I feel like we watched her grow up. I think she’s married now and has a couple kids and is enjoying the life. She’s built for herself. At least I hope so. This is a cut off her 2015 release, “25” release in 2015.

That’s it… Do the best you can; Laugh every chance you get; Always remember… The best is yet to come! As always, thank you for being my friend!
