“ Dobroho ranku”, or “Good Morning!” in Ukrainian, is an Eastern Slavic language spoken mainly in Ukraine.  The UJT will remain focused on Ukraine until we can all rejoice at the end of hostilities.  It has been  2,244 days since Russia invaded Ukraine.

This week, I learned some stuff:

    • Larry got his new pacemaker and is recovering nicely under the careful supervision of BA and the dogs.
    • I found some challenges in trying to put together the vocabulary list for this week. I’ll have to postpone until next week when I have more time to do the research.
    • You can find out all about today’s history  here.

This week’s Website Update:

    • No new recipes this week.
    • This week’s quote is from my personal pile of rabbit, pellet wisdom:  “what you do and what you don’t do matters. You have no control of her how or to who or why but no Life is left without leaving an imprint on the world around us.,” .

Bonsai Tree and   Stained Glass, Update:

      • No progress since before  visits.

Weird-Stuff-O-Meter:

    • Currently, I am reading a a book called, “a promised land” by a fellow named Barack Obama. I just started it the other day so how much I enjoy it remain shot standing but I must say so far so good. There are several things I find fascinating about this author and their subject. I’ve always felt a kindred spirit with her last best president because I have been accused of being”a Pollyanna” of optimism in the course of my duties throughout my life. He can’t get away with my excuse though. I always used to claim to be too stupid to know what I couldn’t do. Our former president is a lot of things but stupid isn’t one of them. I wanted to feel what he felt when he was in the presidency because I have a morbid curiosity of why and how anyone would want to live that life I believe is sincere I believe he meant to do as much good as you possibly could and saw the presidency is a way to do that and I believe he did a lot of good and I wanted to hear how it happened so this book is a real treat for me for one other reason I love the sound of this man’s voice, and he reads the novel to the reader. Have you read it? It’s a good read in dark times.

This week’s UJT Radio Program:

I don’t know about you, but I am bored with my alphabetic approach towards the playlist every week. I think I’m gonna go back to the stream of consciousness way of discovering music in the universe. It’s been fun and I’ve covered some ground. I hadn’t been to in a while, but I think I wanna go back to the other way. I hate being organized for too long.

  • Little Feat— Texas Twister Thus is just one of those songs destined to get your butt rockin. The music is so tight, the story is so real, you just can’t help being carried along. This song is just one of the great tunes on their 1999 release, “Representing the Mambo”.
  • Crosby stills Nash and Young —  Triad I think I will be eternally grateful to the boys for overcoming their many differences, and he gets his moments to climb up on stage and capture some of the most beautiful music ever made. Each player brought his own brand of brilliance to the game and we embrace them with all our might. This is a cut from their live album, “4 Way Street” released in 1971..
  • Prince & The Revolution  — Kiss  I’m not sure how many people know it but princesses are the most prolific songwriters of our time. I’m pretty sure he gave Steve Alan a run for his money in the book of world records on songs written. This was a big hit from him from the first album, “Parade” released in 1986.
  • Jimmy Buffett  — He Went to Paris — This version was released on his, “Songs You Know by Heart”. What a perfect name for this songs I did I do know them all my heart and sing, along with them a little tear in my eye for most the time and a smile on my face every day without Jimmy’s another day, we realize how much we lost when he passe.
  • Ima Robot —Greenback Boogie — This one was this song from a TV show that I don’t remember the name of anymore, but I always liked the song from Time time. I dig it out and play it again and it makes me smile. I hope it does for you too. This song is from their album, “I am a robot” release in 2010..
  • John Denver — Paradise — This is a very special song for me because it was my first John Prine song and I didn’t even hear it from John Prine. I heard from a pickar at the red Mule Inn in Norfolk, Virginia, but I fell in love with it right away and I wanna bought my first John Prine album. This version is by John and was released on his, “Rocky Mountain High” album released in 1972.
  • Stevie Wonder  — Too High — This special song f this from a record, I would put on and listen to over and over again. There seemed to be no thing I could miss. I would listen Claire closer each time feels like magic. This is a cut off his galactic ally, amazing record, “Innervisions” released in 1973.

That’s it… Do the best you can; Laugh every chance you get; Always remember… The best is yet to come! As always, thank you for being my friend!
